Thank you for your consideration and also for the opportunity to express my interest in joining your team of professionals. Following a formal degree in Film and Media Studies, I spent more than 20 years perfecting my skills in graphic design, video production, video equipment logistics, content strategy development, 2D and 3D animation, marketing, advertising, photography, directing creative services staff, and opening my own production company in 2003.
My responsibilities included managing the launch of two television stations in Europe, designing and implementing state-of-the-art equipment in their facilities, providing operational expertise, developing content, hiring, training, and managing teams of video production professionals. The key to success is a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and effective teamwork. With more than 20 years of experience directing award-winning videos and premium video content, I am ideally suited to make a significant impact in your organization.
In addition to managing and operating large production budgets, I have also successfully operated within extremely limited monetary resources, perfecting my ability to do more with less. In addition to operating on minimal budgets, I was able to learn to use and troubleshoot hardware and software, equipment, and tools that, when necessary, were readily available. My expertise includes production workflows, live broadcasting and streaming, set design, 3D animation, HD/UHD/HDR/4K and remote live production, green screen, marketing, website content generation and design, social media management, IP workflows, OTT platforms, and virtual studios.
Additionally, I have experience managing all aspects of editing, sound engineering, music, animation, recording, and delivering final products in a variety of formats. Above all, my creative vision is my greatest asset. My clients have praised my ability to create effective advertising and marketing campaigns as well as complex video productions. I bring to your organization an extensive amount of both creative experience and technical proficiency.

How would you characterize your personality?

Creative, positive, organized, and dedicated. The creative side of my personality helped me in my career. I was able to handle difficult and time-sensitive tasks and also came up with creative ideas exceeding clients' expectations. Positivity helped me in keeping a calm and positive attitude in stressful situations. Being organized helped me to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and when you're dedicated to your job, your own goals align with those of the company.
Outline your organizational process.
I'm determining what work is needed to accomplish the goal. I also look at which deadlines are closer, so I know which projects to complete first. I keep a running “to-do” list. I use both a digital calendar and a paper calendar on my desk to list personal deadlines for completing tasks and deadlines, so I understand which priorities are more important.
Recall a time you worked on a challenging project with multiple people. What was the project? What was the outcome?

I was involved in a Political Campaign for the reelection of Romania's President Basescu. One morning, during a Talk-Show, a National TV Station broadcasted a short movie showing the President hitting a child during a rally. It was a fake movie, and the Campaign Team asked me to come in front of the Media during a press conference, to prove that the video was a fake through an elaborate analysis of the video. Back in Romania, I was known as a great professional, with a lot of credibility and integrity.
My analysis proved to be correct, and it was later endorsed by a criminal investigation against the people who produced the fake video. The positive outcome was that the President was reelected.

The other project is Arca TV, an Online TV platform covering the life and achievement of Romanians living worldwide. I was able to overcome difficult and challenging tasks, bringing together different people, with different personalities and finding technical solutions to produce high-quality videos and TV Shows. I was able to bring together, in the same virtual environment, people living in different cities in the US or even different countries, looking like they were in the same place during the live TV Show.
Recall a time you disagreed with your colleagues about how to execute a project. How did you resolve it?

First, I am a good listener who can accept opposing views without getting upset, maintaining professionalism and respect. It was a disagreement about what type of plugin (virtual volumetric light) we should use for a commercial. After listening and understanding my colleague's side, we both agreed that the best way to resolve the issue would be to work together. We both agreed that our goal was to keep the customer happy and came to a compromise that consisted of both of our ideas.
How would you rate your ability to work with difficult personalities?
I worked with top CEOs, politicians - Senators, Presidents, and I had to find creative solutions to tight deadlines or nervousness. I'm more focused on the job, results, and goals. I can work through any problem alongside my coworkers or clients, no matter how difficult they are, we are there to do our job, with patience and collaborative effort, for a common purpose.
